Update: Players can now access the Cyberpunk 2077 console through this mod from NexusMods user Avery3R. There’s a ton of console commands, which are documented in the readme included with the mod. The item hashes have also been discovered, which allows players to add any item in the game to their inventory. These can be found here.
Additionally, the game’s debug menu has been found and unlocked by Yamashi. Players can access it by downloading the mod here and following the instructions on this wiki. Be warned, using these debug commands can significantly change the current inventory, Eurodollar total, and a character’s stats, so make sure to back up a save before using it.
Using console commands in Cyberpunk 2077 to activate cheats like infinite money, God Mode, infinite ammo, and spawn items would be incredibly useful. With such a big game, some people just don’t have the time to grind out cash or retry challenging sections. Fortunately, those playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PC might have access to powerful console commands.
Does Cyberpunk 2077 have console commands?
There’s almost certainly a way to activate the debug console in Cyberpunk 2077, at least on PC. This tool lets players enter commands that developers used to debug the game. These commands can be simple things like God Mode cheats or spawning money. However, those who dig into the console will find even more powerful options.
Advanced console commands can typically do things like setting progression flags, or enabling teleporation throughout the game world. However, as the game has just been released, the Cyberpunk 2077 debug console isn’t available yet.
Unfortunately, developers tend to remove access to the console before launch. We’ve tried the method used to enable The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s debug commands and didn’t get any results. Since Cyberpunk 2077 has moved to REDEngine 4, the process to enable debug tools is probably slightly different. However, we anticipate that an enterprising modder will figure out how to unlock the functionality within a few days. When this happens, we’ll add a full list of Cyberpunk 2077 console commands.
For now, players will have to get the cash to buy fancy cars and motorcycles by grinding. Alternatively, if they use our money farming guide, players might not even need cheats.
Does Cyberpunk 2077 have cheat codes?
During our 50 hours with the game, we haven’t seen any cheat functionality within Cyberpunk 2077. Cheat codes are rare in games these days, and given how complex the game is, the devs likely didn’t want to factor in players using cheats as it’s already buggy without them.
On PC, players will at least likely get access to the developer console soon. Those on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or Stadia won’t have anything resembling cheats available on their platforms.
