Is Oddworld: Soulstorm coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Is Oddworld: Soulstorm coming to Xbox Game Pass, Steam, and Switch?

Oddworld: Soulstorm is currently being offered as a PlayStation Plus game on PS5, which means many players can pick this game up for “free” as a part of their subscription. But this means some are wondering if Oddworld: Soulstorm is coming to Xbox Game Pass or to Steam or the Switch. Here’s what platforms Oddworld: Soulstorm is coming to.

Is there an Oddworld: Soulstorm Xbox Game Pass version?

Is Oddworld: Soulstorm coming to Xbox Game Pass, Steam, and Switch?

Oddworld: Soulstorm is not currently on Xbox Game Pass because the game is not currently on any Xbox systems. While Munch’s Oddysee originally launched on the original Xbox in 2001, only New ‘N’ Tasty came to Xbox One in 2015 and not Stranger’s Wrath HD or Munch’s Oddysee HD. New ‘N’ Tasty is the only Oddworld game currently on new Xbox systems and it’s not on Game Pass.

However, Soulstorm is likely coming to Xbox platforms sometime in the future. The trailer says it is a “console exclusive for a limited time” and New ‘N’ Tasty eventually came to Xbox systems a year after originally launching on PS4. This pattern means that Soulstorm is probably going to come to Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One within the next year or so. Game Pass is still a different story though, but not out of the question given how Soulstorm is launching as a part of PlayStation Plus.

Is there an Oddworld: Soulstorm Steam version?

Oddworld: Soulstorm is currently on the Epic Games Store and not on Steam as of yet. As is the case with other Epic exclusives and the likely case with the potential Xbox version, Soulstorm will likely come to Steam within the next year or so.

Is there an Oddworld: Soulstorm Switch version?

Oddworld: Soulstorm is not on the Switch and has a slimmer chance making it to Nintendo’s portable platform than the other systems here. While Munch’s Oddysee, New ‘N’ Tasty, and Stranger’s Wrath are all on the Switch, they’re all relatively older games. Soulstorm is a new 2021 release and not a game from the early to mid-2000s or a remake of a PS1 game from 1997. It’s possible, but its technical specs might keep it from coming to Nintendo’s platform (although the rumored Switch Pro could change that).
