Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight just hit PC to a warm reception. It’s from the mind of Final Fantasy XIV and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild artist nocras, which explains the familiar art style. The game’s similarity to BOTW in particular has a lot of people clamoring for a Tasomachi Switch version. But, are there console ports on the way? Here’s the latest on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One release dates.
Is a Tasomachi Switch version coming out?
Tasomachi is out now for Windows PC and available to download via Steam and GOG. If the game performs well it’s possible that a Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight Nintendo Switch port will launch in the future. Right now, however, there is no scheduled Tasomachi Switch release date.
Publisher Playism has put several games out on Nintendo Switch in the past, perhaps most notable of which is Kero Blaster. Since there’s past precedent, a port could be possible if there’s high demand for it. Considering the comparisons between Tasomachi and Breath of the Wild (which is hugely successful on the platform), the demand is arguably already there.
Are Tasomachi PS5 and PS4 versions coming out?
Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight is currently playable on PC. Console versions could release further down the line, providing that the game is successful. At the time of writing, there’s been no official word on a Tasomachi PlayStation version and there isn’t a PS5 or PS4 release date.
Are Tasomachi Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One versions coming out?
Playism could release a Tasomachi Xbox port for Series X|S and Xbox One at a later time. For now, though, the game is only available on PC and no plans to develop an Xbox version have been announced. Watch this space for potential updates on a Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight Xbox release date.
