Going Medieval console versions

Going Medieval Console: Is it coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch?

Going Medieval is an Early Access PC game that’s already taking the platform by storm. The old-timey city builder lets players create and defend a massive fortress, while also keeping its inhabitants happy. Its approachable art style and in-depth gameplay have players wondering if Going Medieval console versions are on the way. But, are they? Catch up on the latest info surrounding potential PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch ports.

Is Going Medieval coming to PS5 and PS4?

Going Medieval is available now on PC via Steam Early Access and the Epic Games Store. Currently, no Going Medieval PlayStation release date for PS5 or PS4 has been announced.

The popular strategy simulation game isn’t yet content complete; developer Foxy Voxel is placing its focus on finishing the game above all else. Following the launch of Going Medieval 1.0, however, it’s possible that the dev team could look towards console ports. There’s already a demand for Going Medieval PS5 and PS4 versions, so hopefully, that doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

Is Going Medieval coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One?

Going Medieval Xbox Series X S and One release date

PC players can purchase Going Medieval via Steam and EGS right now. There are no known plans for Xbox One and Series X|S versions, and there isn’t a Going Medieval Xbox release date.

Going Medieval is a successful game that would likely find success on the Xbox platform. As such, it’s possible that a Going Medieval Xbox port will launch after the game leaves Early Access on PC. Stay tuned to GameRevolution for updates as and when any news breaks regarding console versions.

Is Going Medieval coming to Nintendo Switch?

Going Medieval is currently playable on PC. At the time of writing, there is no known Going Medieval Nintendo Switch release date.

Despite being a relatively complex game, Going Medieval’s basic visuals indicate it could probably run on Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite. It’d be a perfect fit for the hybrid handheld platform, though, unfortunately, there are seemingly no plans to port it over just yet. Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it won’t happen in the future.

Until then, catch up on all things Fortnite. The new Invasion update is here, featuring Rick Sanchez from Adult Swim’s Rick & Morty animated series. Morty might be absent, though the patch does contain the next best thing. While this additional content is exciting, more annoyingly, Chapter 2 Season 7 also removes several guns.
