How to get alien off head in Fortnite
A Fortnite alien parasite can be removed from the player’s head in four easy ways, although some are more perilous than others:
- Jump in a body of water. This is the easiest and safest way to remove an alien, assuming there is some around.
- Enter an interactive prop, such as Port-a-potties or a dumpster. Again, this assumes there is a prop around.
- Burn it off, perhaps by walking through a campfire.
- Get another player to shoot it off, although this will leave the player low on health or dead, so this is the least favorable option.
Other than looking goofy, the biggest problem with having an alien parasite attached is that it immediately begins draining the player’s health down to 60 HP, which isn’t ideal. However, as a bonus, it makes the player immune to headshot damage and be able to move faster and jump higher, so there are benefits to keeping one on for a while.
