Many people are having trouble with Disney Plus logging out constantly, but why is this happening? Why does Disney Plus keep logging people out at random, which is obviously extremely annoying when all anyone wants to do is watch Marvel Studios shows like Loki or Star Wars: The Bad Batch? Is there a fix for the Disney Plus login error, or some form of workaround? Let’s see.
Is there a Disney Plus logging out error fix?
To fix Disney Plus logging out, users must do the following:
- Force close the Disney Plus app completely, such as by going to the menu or going to Apps & Games and choosing to Close Application or Force Stop — and log in again fresh.
- Restart the device with Disney Plus on it entirely, then log in to Disney Plus again. This may require holding the power button for a few seconds.
- Update Disney Plus if that hasn’t been done already.
- Delete the Disney Plus app entirely and redownload.
- If using Amazon Fire, try clearing the cache. Go to Settings/Apps & Notifications/Manage All Applications and choose Disney Plus, then Storage and Clear Data or Clear Storage and Clear Cache.
- If possible, turn on Mobile Data to allow the device to continue using Disney Plus without wifi.
There are unfortunately quite a few reasons why Disney Plus would randomly log people out all the time, although it seems to mostly affect users who either drop out of wifi or are using the streaming service on tablets like Amazon Fire. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be one single fix to help everyone, and it’s probably down to Disney to fix it.
This is a shame, because there’s a lot to look forward to on the service right now — such as the confirmed Season 2 for both Star Wars: The Bad Batch and Loki, and a possible Dark Avengers movie.
