The team behind Forza Horizon 5 are releasing a limited edition gamepad in celebration of the game’s launch. That’s right, there’s a Forza Horizon 5 Limited Edition Xbox controller now available for preorder. This neon-soaked controller includes several special touches perfect for series fans, especially those with a knack for the flamboyant. Here’s how to buy one for yourself.
How to preorder the Forza Horizon 5 Xbox controller
The Forza Horizon 5 Limited Edition Xbox wireless controller is available for pre-order through the Microsoft store. The price is set at $74.99, and Forza Horizon 5 Xbox controllers are expected to start shipping on November 9, 2021.
All things considered, this is the same method we’ve come to expect for limited-edition Xbox controllers. They’re a little more pricey than usual — though not as costly as the Xbox Elite controller — but the trade-off is exclusivity.
Thankfully, the Forza Horizon 5 Limited Edition controller is anything but typical. With neon pink and blue splatter accents over a transparent yellow finish, it’s certainly a device to turn heads. Microsoft also threw in a color-shifting hybrid D-pad and a racing-inspired grip to help fight sweat during white-knuckle racing. There’s even a very subtle Horizon logo on the back of the battery compartment.
If we have any word of warning, it’s that if you want one, you should pre-order the Forza Horizon 5 Xbox controller as soon as possible. Limited edition runs always seem to run out early, and electronics have been in short supply in recent months. It’s entirely possible that stock of these limited edition gamepads won’t last for long.
If you want to buy the limited edition Forza Horizon 5 Xbox controller, simply head over to the Microsoft store. Pre-orders are open now, and the neon-soaked custom controllers are expected to ship in November. In the meantime, check out the full list of confirmed Forza Horizon 5 DLC vehicles. Otherwise, enjoy another glimpse of the game’s gorgeous Mexico-based locales.
