Sex Education

Will there be another season of Sex Education?

If you’ve logged onto Netflix in the past week, you will have seen that season 3 of Sex Education is finally here. The wildly popular British teen drama follows the students of Moordale High School. They navigate a range of adolescent obstacles — that they’d rather not share with their parents. After seasons 1 and 2 ended on cliffhangers, fans of the show are wondering whether this new season is a wrap for the adventures of Otis, Maeve and co. Fear not, as we take a look at whether there will be another season of Sex Education.

Will there be a Sex Education season 4?

Sex Education

Netflix haven’t officially confirmed anything yet. However, you can almost guarantee that we’ll see Sex Education season 4 in the future. The show is one of Netflix’s biggest hits, and season 3 is no different — so the future looks bright.

When you log into Netflix, you’ll notice Sex Education adorning the trending tab. This comes as no surprise, as the show has been consistently popular with audiences since its first season in 2019. That hype has only increased in the years since, and this third season has seen Sex Education really breaking into the mainstream. Netflix has always been reluctant to share viewership figures, but the fact that Sex Education remains in the top 10 of trending, almost a week after its debut, is definitely a good sign.

And if the show is performing so highly, why would Netflix cancel it? The streamer has earned a reputation for being a little trigger-happy when cancelling shows, with hits like Dear White People and Altered Carbon meeting early demises. However, Sex Education is as popular as it’s ever been. With the show’s social media accounts racking up this many likes, too, then it’s definitely a profitable venture for Netflix to continue:
