Lost Judgment is a long game, but some players will be ready to jump right back in after completing it. Those looking for to replay the game will want to know whether they have to start from scratch or if there’s a new game plus where some progress will carry over. Fans will also want to know how Premium Adventure mode works in Lost Judgment and if it’s the same as it is in other Yakuza games.
Is there New Game Plus in Lost Judgment?
Lost Judgment does have a new game plus mode in the form of Premium New Game Plus mode. Whenever a player chooses to start a new game from the main menu, they’ll be asked whether they want to start the game from scratch or use clear data.
If a player chooses to start a new game from clear data, the following carries over:
- Money
- Unlocked Skills
- Inventory
- TownGO progress
Players can also start a Legend difficulty game when choosing Premium New Game Plus. The carried-over progress can be a big help when trying to make it through the much more difficult fights.
What is Premium Adventure mode in Lost Judgment
Beating the game unlocks Premium Adventure mode in addition to Premium New Game Plus. When the credits roll in Lost Judgment, players will be able to save their game, and it’ll convert into a Premium Adventure save.
Upon loading a Premium Adventure save in Lost Judgment, players will find themselves back in the game in what is essentially free-roam mode. There’s no main objective here, and players are free to continue clearing side content (including getting Skateboarding Points) and filling out their skill tree.
So, Judgment both allows players to continue their game post-credits and has a new game plus mode. So, it’s really the best of both worlds, but remember, to access it, players need to beat the game first!
