FIFA 22: How to get Michail Antonio POTM card

FIFA 22 is finally here, and the scramble to craft the best Ultimate Team possible is already underway. When compiling the best cards possible, you’re always going to want to check for special, limited-edition cards. They range from Team of the Week to Player of the Month cards — and the first one might be here. We’ve got all the details on how to get the upcoming FUT POTM card, Michail Antonio.

How to get FUT Michail Antonio POTM card in FIFA 22

Michail Antonio

At the moment, EA hasn’t confirmed how to earn the Michail Antonio POTM card. However, almost all Player of the Month cards are released as Squad Building Challenges. There’s no reason to expect this Antonio card to be any different.

Yes, as FIFA 22 is still in its early stages, the FUT Antonio POTM card isn’t out yet. In fact, there’s only one special card available right now — a Ones to Watch Xherdan Shaqiri, available through an SBC. As the game is still in early access via EA Play ahead of its full release, you can expect for plenty more SBCs to launch once the game is widely available.

When that happens, the Antonio POTM card will be one of the first special SBCs in the game. Last year, the first Premier League POTM card was Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin. His card released on October 9, 2020, in a limited-time SBC. As such, the release date for the Antonio POTM SBC will likely be very similar.

As it’s a Squad Building Challenge very early into the game’s life-cycle, you can also expect the Antonio POTM card to be relatively simple to unlock. As per FutBin, last year’s Calvert-Lewin challenge cost around 50,000 coins to complete. However, his 84-rated card was higher than Antonio’s upcoming 80-rated card. As such, it’ll require considerably fewer coins, and should have simpler requirements, too.
