New World Too Many Requests error fix

New World: How to fix ‘Too Many Requests’ error

Amazon Game Studios’ New World is so popular at launch that users are having to endure hours-long queues to play. While annoying, this often goes hand-in-hand with new MMORPG releases. Where most users draw the line, however, is getting an error message that kicks them to the back of the queue. This is exactly what the New World “Too Many Requests” error notification does, much to the ire of PC players. But, is there a quick and easy “@mm_loginservices_TooManyRequestsException” connectivity issue fix? Here’s the latest on a solution.

Here’s how to fix the New World Too Many Requests error message on PC:

  1. Receive the @mm_loginservices_TooManyRequestsException error while queueing.
  2. Press the “OK” button on the New World Too Many Requests error pop-up.
  3. Wait and DO NOT press anything else.
  4. After waiting for a few minutes or less, the player should rejoin the queue at their previous position.

Interacting with the game in any way after acknowledging the on-screen prompt will send players to the back of the queue. Instead, users must press nothing; after a relatively short wait, players should regain their old place in the New World server queue. There’ll still be a wait before loading into gameplay, of course, but a much shorter one joining the back of the line.

Annoyingly, the game doesn’t communicate this in any way. Amazon ideally needs to fix the New World Too Many Requests Exception error altogether, or, failing that, at least implement some kind of in-game signposting that informs players to wait. Still, by keeping the above steps in mind anyone reading this guide will know what to do next time the issue occurs.
