The Riders Republic Game Pass release date is highly anticipated among extreme sports fans, who are wondering when they can pick up the Ubisoft game for free on Xbox Series X, PC, and Xbox One as part of the subscription services. So is Riders Republic coming to Game Pass, and if so, when is it coming out?
Is Riders Republic coming to Game Pass and when is its release date?
Riders Republic was released on October 28, 2021, across platforms including Xbox and PC, though there is no official Game Pass release date at the time of this writing.
However, that’s not to say that Riders Republic will never release on Game Pass. Ubisoft mostly withholds its games from Game Pass due to the existence of Ubisoft Plus, the publisher’s own subscription service that houses its library of games. However, titles such as For Honor have made their way to Game Pass previously, so Riders Republic could eventually be released on the service, too.
But that’s all speculation right now, as Riders Republic has not been confirmed for Game Pass. Given that the game has only just been released, it’s unlikely it’ll make its way to the service any time soon — typically, publishers wait to receive the most amount of sales on a game as possible, before Game Pass provides it with a new lease on life as public interest is declining. The most recent evidence of this is Marvel’s Avengers, which Square Enix released on Game Pass to jolt its player base back into life.
We’ll have to wait and see if Riders Republic is on the same path, or even if it will eventually be free-to-play. In the meantime, players can pick it up as a full-price game.
In other news, the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen patch was delayed into 2022 by CD Projekt Red. The Nintendo Switch Online Nintendo 64 expansion pack was also released — and has received poor reviews.
