Football Manager 2022 is out now — but it’s missing a few key components. The new title doesn’t have some real kits, player faces, or the rights to Juventus and Manchester United. However, if that lack of realism is a problem, there are simple ways to add them. Fear not, as we break down how to get real kits, player faces, Juventus, and Man United in Football Manager 2022.
How to get real kits in Football Manager 2022
Getting real kits in Football Manager 2022 is a simple process.
- Head to sortitoutsi.net, and look at the ‘Essentials’ menu on the left
- The third option down is ‘Football Manager 2022 kits’
- Click on SS Kits, which will take you to a forum with plenty of kit design packs to choose.
- Then, download the pack of your choice.
- The next step is moving the downloaded folder to FM22’s program files:
- On PC, move it to this location: My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022/graphics
- On Mac, move it to this location: /Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2022/graphics
How to get player faces in Football Manager 2022
Equally, you might want each player’s profile to be emblazoned with their face. It’s a very similar process:
- On sortitoutsi.net, choose the ‘Football Manager 2022 player faces’ option in Essentials
- We recommend selecting Cut Out Player Faces Megapack, as it has the largest database
- Once downloaded, simply move the folder into your game’s graphics folder, as before
How to get Juventus and Man United in Football Manager 2022
Lastly, here’s how to add Juventus and Man United – as in the base game, they’re unlicensed.
- On sortitoutsi.net, choose ‘Real Name Fix with Real Juventus/Man Utd Teams‘
- Next, download the pack. From here, you’ll need to tweak the game files
- On PC, open Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonFootball Manager 2022datadatabasedb2200, and delete the dbc, edt, and lnc folders. Repeat this process for the 2201 folder, too
- On Mac, here is how to find these folders: /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/FootballManager2022/data/database/db/2200. You’ll need to delete the 2201 folder, too.
With all these steps completed, you’ll have a fully updated FM22 database. Enjoy!
