The open world of Halo Infinite contains many surprises for players to uncover. Among the game’s most important collectibles are Spartan Cores. These are essential when it comes to upgrading your suit and expanding your abilities. Finding them naturally will take time, but there’s an easy way to find all Spartan Core locations if you know where to look first.
How to find all Spartan Core locations in Halo Infinite
While you’re likely to find Spartan Cores on your own, you can reveal all of their locations by capturing forward operating bases. This is by far the easiest way to find all Spartan Cores and collect all upgrades. Otherwise, you’ll need to comb through each area to discover every location.
It’s worth remembering that you don’t need to capture FOBs to find Spartan Cores. Their locations will remain static regardless of whether they’re highlighted on the map. However, if you capture a forward operating base, you can simply ping the location of all nearby items. Doing so will reveal the location of all Spartan Cores in the area.
Naturally, collecting them all will involve capturing a number of FOBs. However, you don’t need to capture bases in order to find cores. Most are hidden away in locations not too far off the beaten path. And don’t worry if you miss a few here and there. Even though you can’t return to earlier missions, there are more hidden cores than there are upgrades to buy.
If anything, capturing FOBs to reveal hidden cores is more important early in the game. Leveling up the right abilities first will help you survive long enough to explore later areas freely. Explore enough, and you’ll max out all of your suit upgrades before finding every core.
You can always find Spartan Cores by exploring, but capturing the area’s forward operating base will reveal all locations. Make capturing FOBs a priority, and you’ll be able to upgrade your suit in no time.
