Those who have purchased Monster Hunter Rise on PC might notice that there are no DLC bundles available in the Steam store. This means players would have to purchase each DLC item at full price. Since the Switch version of the game features DLC bundles, it’s a bit confusing that it appears that Capcom expects PC players to pay full price. However, that’s not the case, and we’ll explain why below.
Why aren’t any Monster Hunter Rise DLC bundles on Steam?
There’s almost $200 worth of Monster Hunter Rise DLC on Steam, but currently, there are no bundles to get a discount on them. Fans hoping to get the DLC for less expected to see the same bundles from the Switch on the Steam store, but they’re nowhere to be found.
Fortunately, Monster Hunter Rise DLC bundles should hit Steam soon. A blog post from Capcom explains the situation:
“We will simultaneously make several paid DLC items available, but it may take some time for all products to show up on the store.
In particular, bundles that include multiple items of paid DLC at a reduced price will only show up on the store once each item in that bundle is available separately on the store.
Please keep this in mind when purchasing DLC.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
So, once all the DLC items in a bundle are added to the store, it should become available for purchase. As of writing, only the Deluxe Kit bundle is available which includes:
- Fish Collar Palico layered armor piece
- Gestures (4 Jumps)
- Izuchi Tail hairstyle
- Kabuki face paint
- Kamurai Hunter layered armor set
- Samurai pose set
- Shuriken Collar Palamute layered armor piece
Players need to be patient for other bundles and check the store page later. Capcom should add these sometime in the near future.
