Players who get to the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace in Elden Ring will quickly realize it’s one of the best Rune farming spots in the game. Finding this location is somewhat difficult, as it’s tucked away in a secret area. However, those that find this secret in a secret will soon find themselves generating more Runes than they can spend.
How to get the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace in Elden Ring
The Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace is players’ first stop in the Mohgwyn Palace region. This secret underground area is itself hidden in the Consecrated Snowfields, which much be accessed by using the Haligtree Secret Medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold. So, to get there, players are going to have to put in some prep work. It’s a late-game location, and players have to defeat Morgott, The Omen King in Leyndell to access the lift.
Once players have unlocked the Consecrated Snowfield, they’ll need to head northwest from the Hidden Path to the Haligtree Site of Grace to the westernmost point in the region. Tucked behind some rocks is a gateway surrounded by blood that will take players to Mohgwyn Palace.
When players arrive at Mohgwyn Palace, they’ll be in a pitch-black cave. However, it’s just a short walk to the exit. Just keep following the path to arrive at the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace.
Alternatively, players can speak with White-Faced Varre at the beginning of the game, then meet him at the Rose Church in Liurnia. Players can then use the item he gives them to try PvP. Then, speak to him again to get an item that will teleport them straight to Mohgwyn Palace. However, farming Runes here is much harder in the early game, so proceed with caution.
How to farm Runes at Mohgwyn Palace
Near the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace, players will find one of the best Rune farms in Elden Ring. Right beside the Site of Grace is a group of 20 or so creatures that give around 2-3000 Runes per kill.
Using a fully upgraded weapon with a wide area of effect like the Sacred Relic Sword, Blasphemous Blade Blade, or Ruins Greatsword with the Gold Scarab Talisman equipped will net players around 40-50,000 Runes every 30 seconds. That’s around 5,000,000 Runes an hour which isn’t too shabby.
