The Fortnite 3.50 update is now rolling out across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Today’s (March 24) new Fortnite patch is a minor update following the big launch of the new season. However, it still features an improvement or two that some players will be happy to see implemented. Read on for the full list of Fortnite 3.50 update patch notes.
Fortnite 3.50 update patch notes
Version 3.50
- Fixed the issue where Xbox players using keyboard and mouse may stop moving when pressing a mouse button.
- Addresses stability issues.
Above are the fixes contained in the 3.50 update. Issues like vehicles stuttering and jerking around while driving them in Battle Royale or Creative, the Low Mesh setting not working as intended, and running Fortnite using DirectX 12 resulting in slow performance are still being investigated by the developers at Epic Games.
Those using a keyboard and mouse on Xbox, which can result in easier aiming compared to using a controller, will be very happy to see the movement bug fixed. Now those players can get back to mousing over enemies and taking them out with a head-click or two!
As for everyone else, the “stability issues” that have been fixed should mean that the game is now running better than ever. If you were experiencing hiccups following the recent season launch, then it’s definitely worth downloading and installing the new patch to see if your issues have been fixed.
Those disappointed by this more minor update shouldn’t feel too down, as there’s often a new Fortnite patch right around the corner. Hold tight and expect more content to drop during next week.
In other gaming news, Microsoft has been hacked by the same group that struck Nvidia and Samsung. Rocksteady has delayed the Suicide Squad game to next year. Nintendo has finally responded to the week-long eShop downtime.
