World of Warcraft: Legion Here’s Where the PvP Medallion Trinket Went in Legion Pre-Patch

In the World of Warcraft: Legion pre-patch released on July 19th, 2016 the PvP medallion trinket has been effectively removed. You might have noticed that when you try to use it, even when it is equipped to your character, it no longer has an effect in battlegrounds or arena. In its place is a new skill called Honorable Medallion, which is found in the General Skills tab (seen above).

Unlike the original PvP medallion, this ability has a three minute cooldown. While at first that might be off-putting, there are two benefits to this system. One, you will never have to worry about spending Honor on a PvP medallion ever again. Honor has been removed, anyway. Secondly, once Legion is out on August 30th, when you hit level 110 you'll have access to an Honor Talent called Gladiator's Medallion, which is the first thing you gain through leveling in PvP. This will replace the Honorable Medallion and will have a two-minute cooldown.

This change has arrived among many other adjustments to PvP that have made it feel much different than ever before. To read more about what has been changed in this update, check out the patch notes on Battle.net.
