Elden Ring Death Counter: How To Keep Track Of How Many Times You’ve Died

If you have ever played Elden Ring and wondered “how many times have I died?” throughout your entire save game then you might be in need of a proper death counter. Fortunately, one site has stepped up to the mark and offered a way for users to keep track of every single death in FromSoftware’s latest game.

How does the Elden Ring death counter work?

Available at the site Elden Ring Death Counter, the tracker offers a way for players to keep a note of exactly how many times they have died while playing the game. Users simply have to click the “Die” button every time they are killed in-game, which will contribute to the overall score on the site. The site, which includes imagery and music from the game, also offered a way for you to reset your progress or undo an error.

In a game like Elden Ring, where the gameplay is incredibly challenging and players are likely to die many times, the lack of any official stats makes it almost impossible to figure out exactly how many times you have died. This death counter provides a way to do just that, although it would be more useful if it was made into a mod that could automatically track deaths, saving players from having to manually click.

Despite the fact that Elden Ring is a difficult game, it has already proved hugely successful. While it has been available for just half the time as Call of Duty Vanguard, the action role-playing game has already sold more copies than Activision’s first-person shooter. According to publisher Bandai Namco, FromSoftware’s release has sold at least 13.4 million units worldwide.
