The Quordle 153 answer for June 26, 2022 has been found with a bit of a clapback to a very recent Quordle. We’re not sure if the developers meant to do this on purpose or if it’s really all random, but there’s one word in the solution today that is repeated from the puzzle five days ago. And it’s the most difficult word for both puzzles at that, so you can look back at the prior solution if you really want to, but we’ll save it for the full answer posted below. If you need a hint in the meantime, it has something to do with the formation of new rock. Otherwise, apart from this word, the general difficulty of this Quordle is on the easier side.

The Quordle answer 153 is:

As we mentioned in a prior guide, “MAGMA” is a challenging word to figure out. It has two double letters, the “M” consonant and the “A” vowel, and the three consonants it does have are all in the uncommon range. It might even stump some Wordle players all on its own. Luckily, the solution has relatively easy words surrounding it, and in particular “SLIME” should help you in working out “MAGMA” due to the “M” in the fourth position.
As far as the first two words “AUDIO” and “LUCID,” they shouldn’t give you too much trouble. If you follow the general strategy for Quordle in covering all the vowels early in the puzzle, you’ll get all of the vowels either in the green or yellow for “AUDIO.” The “D” in that word will then assist you in getting “LUCID.” With that clue, it shouldn’t be too challenging to conclude that there’s a “C” consonant in the middle. Overall, the four words in the solution synergize with each other well, which doesn’t happen too often.
