Many are wondering whether or not the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint pack is worth it. For the price, is the value really there when you consider the immediate access to the beta, Battle Pass, and other goodies? This guide is here to help straighten out the details and aid players in deciding on whether to buy it.
Should I buy the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack?
Avid Overwatch players will likely want to pick up the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack.
Not only does it include immediate access to the beta, which could take days and weeks to otherwise gain entry to, but it also comes with the Season 1 Battle Pass, two Legendary Space Raider Hero Skins, and 2,000 Virtual Currency (which can be used to buy both Season 2 and 3 Battle Passes).
The Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack also bundles in the Overwatch Legendary Edition, which includes the game and other exclusive cosmetics.
For those planning to pay for the first three Battle Passes anyway, doing so outright with the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack seems like a no-brainer.
However, for those who are undecided on just how much time they will be investing into the free-to-play Overwatch 2, and who don’t have a burning desire to play in the beta as soon as it goes live, then waiting may be the wiser option.
At the time of writing, the gaming public hasn’t had the chance to actually play Overwatch 2, and so there are very few opinions out there. This makes it tough to recommend players put down their hard-earned cash to blindly support what is still a fairly mysterious game.
Thankfully, the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack should still be available at least until the game launches on October 4, so the choice doesn’t have to be rushed.
