The Quordle 160 answer has been found for July 3, 2022. This puzzle is challenging not because it has a lot of uncommon or double letters, but mainly due to the number of unique letters throughout the solution. Only five letters are repeated, with one word having an instance of a double letter, which means that it will be difficult to eliminate many of the possibilities as easily as other Quordles. If you need a hint, the word in the upper-left corner is the most challenging one among the four and is the name of an insect. The full answer has been provided in the next paragraph if need more assistance.
What is Quordle answer 160? (July 3, 2022)
The Quordle answer 160 is:
- “MIDGE”
- “WRACK”
- “SONAR”
- “FURRY”
Despite being a repeated word from a prior Quordle, “MIDGE” is still fairly difficult due to the uncommon “M” and “G” consonants. It refers to a species of insects that’s similar to a mosquito, and in the UK, it is used informally to describe a little person. The “?IDGE” construction can also be slightly tricky since both the “R” and “F” can solve it, which might make you lose a guess. “WRACK” might also give you trouble because of the “W,” “C,” and “K” consonants. Similarly, it can also reduce to the “?RACK” which also has multiple possibilities. Between these two words alone, the overall difficulty of the puzzle can be raised to medium at minimum.
On the other hand, “SONAR” and “FURRY” shouldn’t be as hard by comparison. “SONAR” contains typical consonants and vowels, and “FURRY” only has the double “R” that’s particularly tricky. We tend to cover the “C” and “H” consonants early in the puzzle, so the “?URRY” construction isn’t tough to crack.
