What is the Wordle answer 411? (August 4, 2022)
The Wordle answer 411 is now “RHYME.”
“RHYME” as a noun means “correspondence of sound between words or the endings of words, especially when these are used at the ends of lines of poetry.” As a verb, it means “(of a word, syllable, or line) have or end with a sound that corresponds to another.” (Definitions from Oxford Languages)
“RHYME” might not have any duplicate letters, but it could still be tough for players who have a tough time landing any of the letters in their initial couple of guesses. The “E” is easiest, as it’s a vowel and most players incorporate a general number of those in their starting guess. The “R” is the next easiest, followed by “M.” That leaves the “H” and “Y,” which should hopefully be found through the careful process of elimination.
Those finding it tough to track down the right word may want to try eliminating as many incorrect letters as possible with each new guess. Provided you aren’t playing on Hard Mode, which forces players to use confirmed guesses in all of the following attempts, it’s best to use each new guess to knock out as many potential letters as possible.
