Joining this new phase a little later this year (2023) is Loki Season 2, which was teased in the post-credits scene for Quantumania. This has fans excited about the hit MCU show’s return, but what is the Loki Season 2 release date? Is there a trailer for the series? Who is in the cast, and who will be the director? Are there any leaks or rumors? Here’s what we know.

Loki Season 2 trailers and plot
There have not yet been any official trailers released for Loki Season 2. The Disney Plus 2023 trailer, however, gave fans a glimpse of some of the action we should expect. This included both Loki and Sylvie looking concerned, and Mobius with the God of Mischief.
As for the plot, that is being kept tightly under wraps, and will likely do so until the show returns. What we can predict is that the multiverse and events we’ve seen in the Earth-616 reality we’ve been watching may be effected by Sylvie’s actions in Season 1.
Loki Season 2 leaks and rumors
A Twitter user claims to know the outline for the story which will be told in Loki Season 2. Their leaks included revealing Dickie’s character to reportedly be an older version of Sylvie, who is attempting to fix their past mistakes. She is said to be “using rogue TVA agents to erase the new timelines that appeared after the death of He Who Remains,” otherwise known as Season 1’s Kang variant.
They add that the Season 1 finale “misled everyone,” and that there “is no Kang in TVA.” The romance building between Loki and Sylvie will play “a central role in the story,” and the person behind the TVA’s technology, played by Ke Huy Quan, will “create some kind of device and give it to Loki so that he can fully return to the present.”
Of course, these supposed leaks have to be taken with a pinch of salt. There have been many reported leaks in the past that haven’t proven accurate.
