Amazon Prime Video has a whole host of exciting TV shows and movies hitting the streaming platform this week. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power continues, but it’s not the only thing you should be looking forward to watching. Here are all of the new films and series coming to Amazon Prime Video this week, between September 19 and September 25.
What is coming to Amazon Prime Video this week (September 19-25)?
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will reach its midway point for season 1 this week, as audiences tune in for episode 5. Now that the foundations have been laid by Galadriel and Queen Regent Míriel to reforge the alliance between Elves and the men of Númenor, we can look forward to a pushback against the evil forces and band of orcs that are attacking the Southlands. With so many already in danger, however, it seems to be a matter of stopping a lot of blood from being spilled, rather than stopping any blood from being spilled at all.
A brand new Prime Video exclusive coming-of-age drama series also debuts this week, called Prisma. Taking place in Latina, a small town in the Roman province, the show follows a group of teenagers who struggle with the complexities of identity, sexual orientation, physical appearance, and more. Mattia Carrano plays twin brothers Marco and Andrea, who may be identical to everyone who sees them, but who face completely different challenges in life.
