The Phasmophobia Apocalypse Update patch notes are out, and they detail the huge amount of new content, changes, and features to the game. One map has received a complete overhaul, custom difficulty is available, and numerous smaller additions and tweaks have been made. Here’s what you’ll find in the Phasmophobia 0.7.0.0 patch:

The biggest addition that comes with the Phasmophobia Apocalypse update is custom difficulty. When creating a game, you can adjust how hard a match will be from a large list of options from three different categories.
Here are the difficulty settings that have been added:
Contract
- Activity monitor state
- Current weather
- Cursed possession list
- Cursed possessions amount
- Fuse box starting state
- Fuse boxes on map
- How many doors start open
- How many hiding places in the level
- Sanity monitor state
- Setup time
Ghost
- Chance of changing the favorite room
- Chance of fingerprints
- Disable or enable hunts
- Do kills extend hunts
- Ghost speed multiplier
- How frequent the ghost will roam
- How long fingerprints last
- How long grace periods will last
- How long the ghost will hunt
- How much evidence it presents
- How much it’ll interact with players
- How often ghost events will occur
Player
- How fast sanity will drain
- How long each spring lasts
- How long it takes to recharge stpring
- How much a Sanity Pill will restore
- How often sprint can be used
- If items are lost on death
- Player speed multiplier
- Starting santity level
- Whether flashlights can be broken
The asylum has been revamped for update 0.7.0.0. Sunny Meadows Mental Institution has been rebuilt from the ground up to feature more distinctive rooms. Those wanting a cozier experience can opt to play in restricted mode, which will have you spawn in one of five sections with access to the rest blocked off. There is also a new, smaller version of Maple Lodge Campsite called Camp Woodwind, which is excellent for quick matches.
