Zelda: Breath of the Wild How To Beat the Muwo Jeem Shrine Strength Trial

On of the most challenging shrines you will likely face during the early portion of your adventure through The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the Muwo Jeem Shrine trial, also known as A Modest Test of Strength. This trial pits you against a mini-boss with high damage and health.

First, it is recommended that you have a weapon with 30+ strength, and you may want Link to have at least 7 Hearts (health) before attempting this trial. Don't forget to eat some food beforehand, preferably something that will increase your attack damage so the fight can be shorter.

The trick to this trial are the pillars around the room. When the enemy charges up an attack, you want to move to position yourself as to require the boss to charge into a pillar.

When this happens, the mini-boss will be disoriented for a couple seconds. You will want to do a light to medium charge attack when this occurs to take a chunk out of the enemy's health.

It is possible to defeat the boss only using this trick provided your weapon is powerful enough.

Good luck!
