The sun is setting on Rumbleverse‘s live servers, as developer Iron Galaxy Studios confirmed the wrassling royale’s shutdown later this month, with refunds supposedly being available to players that made any real money purchases. The closing of live service for Rumbleverse will surely come as a disappointment to steadfast fans of the grappling game, who’ve only had six months to play it in total, a scarily short lifespan, with Apex Legends Mobile following in a similar shutdown.
Rumbleverse shutdown: How to get a refund on real money purchases
As of writing, Epic Games and Iron Galaxy have confirmed that Rumbleverse refunds will be available via their FAQ page, including any purchases of the Battle Pass or in-game currency across any platform. However, there’s no way to claim a refund available just yet, with the Iron Galaxy team promising to share a refund-centric FAQ page soon.
“Any player who has spent money on Rumbleverse is eligible for a refund of money spent on or in the game. This includes the purchase of a Rumbleverse Battle Pass or Brawla Bills on any platform.”
Given the recency of the closure announcement, we expect the refund FAQ to be set up over the course of the month while Rumbleverse sadly winds down. Live services for Rumbleverse are due to go offline fully on Tuesday, February 28 at 10 AM CST.
