Guilty Gear Strive is coming to Xbox this spring as a standalone release alongside its launch on Xbox Game Pass. It just wrapped up its cross-platform beta test, and now the only thing to wait for is the full release. So when is Strive’s Xbox Game Pass release date?
Is there a Guilty Gear Strive Xbox Game Pass release date?
There is no official release date aside from its spring window, but the popular fighting game will launch on day one on Xbox Game Pass. It supports cross-platform multiplayer, so if you’ve been watching people play on PS5 or PC, you can finally join in on the fun.
Launched in 2021, Guilty Gear Strive has been the breakout fighting game of 2022. It held the top spot for the number of entrants in EVO 2022, beating Street Fighter 5 and Tekken 7. It’s part of the main game lineup for EVO 2023, which takes place from March 31 – April 2 this year.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get access to Guilty Gear Strive as part of their subscription, but you will also be able to buy it separately. A price hasn’t been set yet, but the game currently retails on the PlayStation Store and Steam for $39.99, which it was permanently reduced to from its release price of $59.99. We hope the Xbox version launches at this lower price, but we’ll have to wait and see.
