Double XP events are to be expected with each new season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, and with Season 2’s launch imminent, it should be no different this time around. With the last double XP weekend having taken place back in January, players are feeling overdue for one, especially given the incoming rank reset. Here’s when we expect the next MW2 and Warzone 2 Double XP weekend event to start.
When is the next MW2 and Warzone 2 Double XP Weekend?
If it follows the current trend of about six weeks between the last two weekend events, the next MW2 and Warzone 2 Double XP Weekend should start on March 10, 2023.
Discounting the spur of the moment Double XP day happening right now, the last weekend event was on during January 27-30, so a six-week break and nearly a month of Season 2 playtime would make sense for an early to mid-March event.
At the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation of an upcoming Double XP Weekend date for February 2023. Until an announcement is made by Infinity Ward or Raven Software, all players can do is speculate.
