The game is notoriously strict when it comes to letting players receive their money back after making an unwanted purchase, but there is a way around this tight policy, if your particular issue meets a certain criteria.
How to get Roblox refunds in 2023
Roblox refunds are easiest to get if you have purchased a defective item if an item you purchased has not been received, or if there has been an unauthorized charge made to an account — this could include your account being hacked.
Follow these steps to report such issues:
- Head to Roblox Support
- Select either ‘Purchases Using Robux’ or ‘Billing and Payments’ under ‘Issue Details’
- Describe the issue you’re having with your purchased
- Submit the report
Roblox outright states that it does not supply refunds to players on its help page, pointing out that even accidental purchases won’t see a refund being supplied — an issue for parents whose children may have accidentally bought something in-game.
“At this time, there is not a way to get Robux back once you have made a purchase,” Roblox’s official statement reads. “We recommend that you read the item’s description to understand what the item is like and use our Try On feature before completing your purchase. This includes accidental purchases, lost and unused items from Avatar Shop and Experiences.”
Still, if you follow the above steps, you have as good a chance as any of getting your money back.
