The MW2 and Warzone 2 Shredder will finally be arriving in Season 2 Reloaded, but the operator will not be coming as expected. Instead, the release date for the Shredder Operator bundle is scheduled to arrive later, but you don’t have to wait long until you can play this TMNT villain in the latest Call of Duty games.
How to unlock Shredder in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2
Shredder can be unlocked in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded by purchasing him as a separate Operator or in a bundle available on March 21.
The Shredder Operator Bundle will cost 2,400 COD points and come with the KV Broadside “Oroku” Shotgun, ISO Hemlock “Saki” Assault Rifle, a Foot Clan weapon charm, and other skins and vinyls.
With Season 2 Reloaded starting today, March 15, you’ll only need to wait about a week for Shredder to claw his way into the game.
Activision originally revealed the character, otherwise known as Oroku Saki in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in a short clip showing off Shredder’s armor and silhouette. As an outside shot, it was speculated that he might be a Warzone boss, but Shredder looks to be just a standard Operator like prior bundles with Rambo, Judge Dredd, Leatherface, and John McClane.
This neat TMNT crossover opens the possibility of seeing the full turtle gang — Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello — in Call of Duty as well. Chances are low of course, but we’ve seen crazier things in the game before.
