The first time you meet a Regenerador in Resident Evil 4 remake, you’re going to have a hard time killing it. However, despite how intimidating these creatures are, they’re not tough to beat once you figure out their gimmick. We’ll discuss the best weapon to beat them and their weak spot below.
How to beat Regeneradors in Resident Evil 4 remake
To kill a Regenerador in Resident Evil 4 remake, you have to kill all the parasites inside its body. Unfortunately, the first time you meet one in the game, you won’t have the item you need to see the parasites, which makes it hard to beat. However, once you get the Biosensor Scope, it’s just a matter of popping those pesky little Plagas inside them.
You can find the Biosensor Scope in the northern part of the Incubation Room. It’ll be in a case next to a file. You can equip it on either a rifle or the LE9 SMG, and when you aim, you’ll be able to see the parasite Plagas within its bodies. Shoot all of them, and the Regenerador will instantly die.
The best weapon to use against the Regenerador is the Stingray. It’s accurate, powerful, has the piercing ability, and does 3x damage to the parasites. It’s also semi-automatic, which allows you to quickly nail multiple parasites.

As a side note, destroying the parasites within the Regenerador in Resident Evil 4 remake is possible without the Biosensor Scope. However, it’s a lot harder, and explosives don’t work, so you can’t just throw a grenade to take it out in one blast.
