You’ll need to find the location of a Gold Chicken Egg in Resident Evil 4 remake to complete the Egg Hunt request. Unfortunately, this elusive item is a real rarity. In fact, we only found one per playthrough.
Where to find a Gold Chicken Egg in Resident Evil 4 remake
You can find a Gold Chicken Egg location in Resident Evil 4 remake in Chapter 4 by heading to the small area on the east side of the lake. It might just be good luck, but we consistently found a single Gold Chicken Egg here.
We assume that like the original game, any chicken has a rare chance to lay a Gold Egg. Presumably, you can follow one around until it lays it, but it’s much easier to just go to the area marked on the above map.
Unfortunately, the request doesn’t give any hints as to the location of a Gold Chicken Egg:
Egg Hunt
Someone fetch me a rare gold chicken egg!
What will I do with it? Well, sometimes it’s more fun not knowing, right?
For completing this request, you get three Spinel. Since chickens appear in multiple areas, you should be able to complete the Egg Hunt request until late in the game. However, we’re unsure where the last chicken is, so you should complete it in Chapter 4 to be safe.
