The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PC port has some issues. At the time of this writing, the game suffers from a variety of frame rate problems, with consistent FPS drops marring an otherwise excellent lightsaber-swinging adventure. But is there a way to fix these issues?
Can you improve Star Wars Jedi Survivor’s PC performance and FPS?
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s PC performance is a technical issue with the game, meaning that even when changing a variety of graphics settings, many players still report that the issues persist. During our playthrough, we found that lowering the quality of the graphics would briefly help, only for the FPS drops to continue after a little while.
Jedi: Survivor’s recommended PC specs include a GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU, though players with hardware far more capable than this have reported issues with the game. Popular YouTuber Skill Up even recommended avoiding the game on PC altogether until its technical issues are resolved:
A day one patch is planned for April 28, so PC players should make sure they download this update before playing the game. On consoles, players are given the option of choosing between a Quality or Performance mode, though a patch will also be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X that will hopefully fix its own frame rate issues.
