The launch time of Redfall is arriving soon today, May 1, on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. If you have a free moment, we recommend that you start the pre-load sooner rather than later, so that you are ready for when the game’s online servers become accessible. Redfall has a simultaneous release time across all time zones. While fair to all players, there may be some server load issues as everyone tries to get into the game at the same time. Here’s when you can start playing Redfall on PC and Xbox consoles.
What is the Redfall launch time?
The Redfall launch time is 5:00 PM PDT / 8:00 EDT on May 1 in the United States.
Given the simultaneous release, this means that those in Europe, Asia, and Australia will be able to play the game on May 2 in their region.
As mentioned before, we recommend that you pre-load the game well beforehand as the download size is quite large. On Xbox Series X it’s around 86 GB, while it’s about half that size on Xbox Series S at 40 GB due to lower-resolution textures. On PC, though, it will require over 103 GB, so you may need to make sure that you have enough hard drive space before installing it.
On the PC front, developers Arkane Studios provided hardware specifications for minimum specs, recommended specs, and ultra specs. It looks like if you want to run the game at a smooth 60 FPS, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i7-9700K, AMD RX 6800 XT (or Nvidia RTX 3080) GPU, 10 GB of VRAM, 32 GB in RAM, and Windows 11. Hopefully Redfall won’t suffer the same PC performance issues as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has at launch.
