The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom golden apple is a special fruit variant that restores more health and hearts than the regular red apple. But because the golden apple is quite rare and somewhat hard to farm in TotK, it’s worth cooking it in a recipe that’s worth making. Fortunately, any recipe in the game that uses apples or just fruit in general will work here. In general, the more complicated the recipe and the more golden apples you use, the greater the bonus effect. Here’s a list of golden apple recipes that you can try in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

You’ll typically find golden apples on various Sky Islands, particularly those with a high number of trees. There’s also a small forest of apple trees next to the Sonapan shrine, which is along the southern road from the New Serenne stable.
