The Techtonica PS5, PS4, Xbox release date is highly requested. It’s a first-person factory automation game where you can play solo or in co-op to build factories and create a base of operations on an alien planet. More than that, this indie game by developer Fire Hose Games has received many wishlist requests. Techtonica is currently in Steam Early Access and is planned to fully release on July 18, 2023. But many players are wondering if the game is coming out console too, so here’s everything we know so far about a potential Xbox or PlayStation port.
Is Techtonica coming out on console?
Techtonica is not confirmed for a console release.
According to the latest FAQ posted by the developer on the Steam discussion board for the game, which was updated in October 2022, Fire Hose Games has not stated whether the game will be coming to consoles. In fact, they completely dodge the question. In response to “Is Techtonica coming to consoles?”, the developer says that the game is “currently being developed for PC platforms.”
Is there a Techtonica PS5, PS4, or Xbox release date?
There is no Techtonica PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One release date.
That said, if Techtonica does well once it’s fully launched in July, there is a possibility that the game might get a port on Xbox and PlayStation platforms. The control scheme for this resource-management game seems very well-suited for keyboard and mouse, but it also has full controller support. So it can be adapted to consoles in time.
The game’s description reads:
“Techtonica is a first-person factory automation game set beneath the surface of an alien planet. Work alone or in co-op to build factories, gather resources, research new technologies, mold the destructible terrain, establish a base of operations, and uncover long-forgotten secrets.”
