An Armored Core 6 Switch release date would let many FromSoftware fans who don’t own a Steam Deck (or similar PC-centric handheld) play the latest mech-heavy RPG on the go. Many are wondering if the game is coming out on Nintendo Switch, so here’s everything we know.
Is Armored Core 6 coming out on Switch?
Armored Core 6 hasn’t been confirmed for a Switch release.
Armored Core 6 hasn’t been confirmed for the Switch and has only been confirmed for the other, more powerful systems. FromSoftware, while still releasing PS4 and Xbox One games in 2023, doesn’t seem to keen on the Switch. Only Dark Souls Remastered has made its way to the portable platform, while the rest of its titles have been thriving on other hardware. This doesn’t confirm that it will never come to the Switch, but historical precedent, the Switch’s age, and the lack of an official comment don’t bode well for such a port.
Is there an Armored Core 6 Switch release date?
There is no Armored Core 6 Switch release date.
As was previously stated, there’s no release date, and that’s unlikely to change. FromSoftware has only put out Dark Souls Remastered on the Switch, while its later games like Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring never came to Nintendo hardware. The studio has also not brought up Nintendo’s system.
The game’s description reads:
“By combining FromSoftware’s longstanding expertise in mech games and their signature robust gameplay, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be a new action experience.”
