Immortals of Aveum Multiplayer: Does it Have Co-op?

An Immortals of Aveum multiplayer mode would let players test their magic skills with or against other people. But just because it is a first-person shooter doesn’t meant it supports co-op or competitive multiplayer. So are there any Immortals of Aveum online multiplayer modes?

Is there multiplayer in Immortals of Aveum?

Immortals of Aveum is strictly a single-player game and has no cooperative or competitive multiplayer elements. There are no ways to link up with friend to play this game. Some may find this hard to believe since it is being published by Electronic Arts, which, aside from the Dead Space remake and the Star Wars: Jedi games, hasn’t been known for its single-player titles for the last decade or so.

And while it is launching as a solo experience, that might not be the case forever. Studio founder Bret Robbins noted on the Epic Games Store website that the team has experimented with multiplayer.

“We have spent some time thinking about (multiplayer), for sure,” said Robbins. “We may have spent some time working on that as well. But we’re not ready to really talk about anything like that. We’re focused fully on the single-player story experience right now.”

Robbins also told Video Games Chronicle that he knew he wanted to make a single-player game but also admitted to doing some “prototyping in various different ways.” The team hasn’t provided an update since, so it remains to be seen if those prototypes or potential plans will come to fruition in the future.
