Armored Core 6 is full of big mechs to customize, and some might feel the urge to have their own mechs in real world, too. Granted, these real-world mechs are much smaller and not full of functional weaponry, but there are plenty of models to choose from to help satisfy that urge. Here are some of the best places to get Armored Core model kits.
How to get Armored Core model kits
There are plenty of Armored Core model kits to choose from. However, many of them are extremely expensive since they are out of print. It makes some sense, as the video game series they are based on has been more or less dormant since 2013.
As shown by Amazon, many kits range from around $100 to about $300, which might limit who can get these little mechs. For example, the C05 Selena Model Kit is $102, while the Crest CR-C75U2 D is $295. There are many in between, like the $176 Rayleonard 03-Aaliyah, $229 Rosenthal CR-Hogire Noblesse Oblige, and $194 RAYLEONARD 04‐Alicia Unsung.
While it is a bit strange that they weren’t timed for launch, some models are being reissued in the near future. The first of which is the Mirage C01-GAEA, which is expected to be available in January 2024. Pre-orders are currently sold out, but more slots will open as more inventory opens up.
The Lineark White Glint is the second reissue. It is slated for February 2024, and pre-orders for that one have also been sold out. More slots will open up as more inventory comes in. The Malicious R.I.P.3/M Blue Magnolia Version is expected in March 2024, and pre-orders have also seized up until more become available. Amazon is also taking pre-orders for the CO3 Malicious P.I.P/M but it is more expensive and slated for July 24, 2024.
