Yes, 125,000 credits does sound like a lot, and it is at the beginning of the game. But so long as you collect guns and equipment from enemies, that’s not a difficult sum to accumulate within about 10 hours of gameplay.
You’ll need to get 125,000 credits to pay off the mortgage in full at Galbank in New Atlantis. To access the home, you need to pay 500 credits at the front door on a weekly basis, which isn’t a lot really. These 500 credits will not pay down the mortgage since it goes to the interest on the loan and not on the principal. Either way, owning a gorgeous home like this is well worth the price.
