The Assassin’s Creed Mirage Surrender enigma is a letter from one dying person to a friend or colleague. It is very cryptic and only mentions a village near an oasis. Here’s how to solve the AC Mirage Surrender enigma.
How to solve to AC Mirage Surrender enigma
To solve the AC Mirage Surrender enigma, you first have to find the scroll attached to it. The Surrender scroll is technically in the wilderness, but it’s just outside of the western most part of the Quadrangle. This is in the northwestern part of the map where the city stops and the desert begins. This scroll is near a bunch of tombstones in the Tomb of Zubayah and does not require you to search that hard for it or solve a puzzle.
It doesn’t come with a map, but a note:
“Ali will call this betrayal, but a cause that once shone bright with promise is rusted with your blood. I drop my rebel blade and leave what’s left of my life north of the oasis in the village of my birth. My old home sinks beneath the waves, they lap even at its dome. Perhaps when it’s submerged I’ll feel cleansed, bathed at last in something other than blood.”
It is vague but contains a few clues. It mentions an oasis, being somewhere north, and being sunk under waves and all of those hints indicate that it is near a northern body of water. Ukbara fits this description and is at the very northern of the map and is far away from The Round City.
Go there and travel to the northern most house in the water. You will see a small torch by a vase and a seat. The treasure is right by there. Just dig it up at the glowing spot and you will get the Rebel Talisman, which you can put on Basim’s back. It is purely cosmetic and has no stat boosts.
