The Diablo 4 Season 2 start date and time is coming very soon. Blizzard is promising a wealth of changes for this so-called Season of Blood with the developers revealing that the upcoming Patch 1.2.0 will update how damage buckets and elemental resistances work. This patch, which will launch alongside this second season, will also make a huge overhaul to unique items, making them have more specific stats and boons. Here’s when season two for Diablo 4 is expected to release on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
What is the Diablo 4 Season 2 start date and time?
The start date and time for Diablo 4 Season 2 is October 17, 2023 at 10 am PDT / 1 pm EDT.
Season of Blood will focus on vampires, with your character joining forces with various vampire hunters and learning how to use new vampiric powers and Pact Armor. The initial quest for the season storyline will have you plunging into Sanctuary’s underworld with the vampire hunter Erys to discover the evil plot of the Dark Master. To start this questline with the Bloody Money quest, you will need to speak with Magistrate Oren in the city of Ked Bardu.
To fight fire with fire, so to speak, you will need to harvest your own Vampiric Powers by collecting Potent Blood drops from enemies, the seasonal questline, and Blood Harvest seasonal event. You can then spend these Potent Blood points for random powers and upgrades, where you can equip up to five powers at a time that are tied to certain Pacts. To activate them, though, you will need to find various types of Pact Armor that have enough magical power to channel these Pacts in the first place.
Season 2 also comes with Uber-difficulty endgame bosses that will be available in World Tier III and beyond. These bosses include Echo of Varshan and Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint.
