MK Onslaught: Can You Get Guaranteed Summons and Pull the Characters You Want?

Mortal Kombat: Onslaught character summons are the key way players can get new fighters on their roster. This lineup is full of notable faces like Shao Khan, Johnny Cage, Mileena, Kotal Khan, and Kitana, just to name a few. But being a gacha game means that unlocking them won’t be the most straightforward process. So can you get guaranteed summons and pull the characters you want in MK Onslaught?

Can you get guaranteed summons in MK Onslaught?

  • MK Onslaught: Can You Get Guaranteed Summons and Pull the Characters You Want?

There are ways to pull a guaranteed summon in MK Onslaught, but it is complicated. To pull a guaranteed character, you are, unsurprisingly, probably going to have to pay for it. The premium store has launched with the Arctika Sub-Zero Blizzard bundle, which is $29.99 and includes Arctika Sub-Zero, as well as Krystals, Koins, XP, and Master Orbs.

You can still get Arctika Sub-Zero in the special summon menu under his banner, but you only have a 1.25% chance if you use Master Orbs. You are also guaranteed the featured character after 80 rolls, but that is going to take 800 Master Orbs, which is quite a lot. These bundles will also change out every few days, so the more powerful characters will be constantly cycling.

Unless you are willing to dish out real money for those frequent bundles or roll 80 times during the limited time they are available, you are going to have to mostly depend on random drops for your summons. There is a random free summon every single day, as well as Apprentice and Fighter summons that cost you a few Skull Orbs or Master Orbs, respectively. These can give you fighters from Mortal Kombat’s expansive lore. The percentages can be seen by pressing the little circle with an “i” in it by the character.

It’s also possible that there will be rewards for connecting the game to Mortal Kombat 1, as was the case for past mobile and console Mortal Kombat games. However, but NetherRealm has stated that players should “stay tuned for more information regarding console to mobile linking rewards.”
