If you’re looking to become a high-tier Clash Royale player, you need to understand your chest cycle. Knowing which tier chest you’re going to get next helps you determine whether it might contain a drop you want. This prevents you from unnecessarily spending premium currency on a chest you might not need.
What is the Chest Cycle in Clash Royale?
The chests you receive in Clash Royale aren’t randomized. Instead, there’s a Chest Cycle that determines the order in which you’ll get chests. As you gain King Levels, this cycle changes six times, gradually removing lower-tier chests and adding new types.
Because the Chest Cycle isn’t random, you’ll always know what type you’re getting next. Even if you manage to make it through all six lists, it’ll just start over from the beginning. So, you can always be sure to know what your future drops may be.
How to track your Chest Cycle
You can track your Clash Royale Chest Cycle if you desire. The order is out there, and you can compare your current King Level to it and determine your next reward. However, that’s tedious, so we won’t do that. Instead, we’ll let a service do it for us.
The first thing you need to do is to get your Clash Royale Player ID. Fortunately, this is easy:
- Open Clash Royale.
- Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select Settings
- Note your Player ID in the lower left corner of the settings box.
Now, enter your ID into Stats Royale. At the bottom of the page showing your player info, you’ll see a section labeled “Upcoming Chests.” Here, you can find where in the chest cycle you are and which ones you’ll be getting next. It’s that easy!
Tracking the cycle allows you to strategically time your premium purchases to coincide with low-value chests. This should maximize your rewards and progress by ensuring you avoid needless purchases from the store.
