The game was going to get a day one PC Game Pass release. However, on August 30, 2022, Paradox put out a blog post announcing that the game will only get a Steam release. They stated, “The game will be a Steam exclusive at the release – after discussion with our partners, it was decided that Victoria 3 won’t be a part of Game Pass or Microsoft Store.” Hence, players should not expect the game to arrive on PC Game Pass anytime soon.
