The Monopoly Go next Golden Blitz event is something many players would like to see happen as we continue through December 2023. Since the new Heartfelt Holidays sticker album arrived earlier in the month, we have yet to see the GB event return. This is surprising because the Golden Blitz schedule for October and November 2023 has been fairly consistent, with a GB event coming out roughly every three days or so. However, numerous players have got plenty of gold stickers that they would like to trade away. Here’s when we believe the next Golden Blitz event will happen for Monopoly Go in December 2023. When is the next Golden Blitz for Monopoly Go in December 2023?
[Update 5] The next Golden Blitz is expected to drop at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM on December 25 (yep, that’s Christmas). It will feature 4-star Game Night (Set 9) and 5-star Team Work (Set 11) and end the following day, December 26, at 5:00 AM PT / 8:00 AM ET.
[Update 4] A Golden Blitz is projected to arrive on December 21 at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM, featuring the two gold stickers Bake It Happen (Set 7) and Special Order (Set 12). The event will last for 18 hours, ending on December 22 at 5:00 AM PT / 8:00 AM ET.
[Update 3] The next predicted Golden Blitz is slated for December 18 at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM ET and lasts until December 19 at 2:00 AM PT / 5:00 AM ET. It will allow you trade Piles of Goodies and Sleigh All Day during that time. The last predicted Golden Blitz didn’t happen, so please treat this with a grain of salt. The reason for the delay on the Golden Blitz events could be due to a glitch with the Safe Trading feature that occurs when players reach 4/5 trades of their daily limit.
[Update 2] The next Golden Blitz for Monopoly Go is expected to drop on December 14, 2023 and will likely include Pile of Goodies (4-Star, Set 8) and Sleigh All Day (4-Star, Set 11). [This rumor unfortunately did not come true.]
[Update] In a surprise, the next Golden Blitz is slated for December 8 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET, and will feature the stickers Bake It Happen (4-Star, Set 7) and Bite Me (4-Star, Set 10). We hope that the Safe Trading feature will come along with this.
[Original] There is no official release date yet for when the next Golden Blitz will occur for Monopoly Go this month in December, but we expect it to drop between December 10 and December 15.
This prediction is based on the fact that Scopely is still preparing to release the Safe Trading feature, which we believe will arrive alongside the first Golden Blitz event. For those who don’t know already, the Safe Trading feature will finally allow players to exchange stickers without having to worry about being scammed. Unfortunately, finding someone who simply takes your sticker without giving theirs back is a fairly common occurrence (which is why we recommend using a Discord or Reddit that has a reputation system).
The Safe Trading feature is slated to release for Monopoly Go v1.2, but we’re not certain when the release date for this will be. It was tested in Brazil in late November, and it is planned to come out in December at some time. We’ll update our prediction with any official info soon.
At any rate, we hope that it’s sooner rather than later, as many players have multiple copies of gold stickers and many of the last few sets in the album require you to collect two or even three 4-star and 5-star gold stickers.
