The Monopoly Go Moonlight Treasures mini-game comes with an incredible array of rewards. Like the Egyptian Treasures event that took place in November, Moonlight Treasures works in very much the same way. The mini-game plays like a lot like Battleship where you need to earn pickaxe tokens to dig spaces on a grid in order to find artifacts that are oriented vertically or horizontally. You can grab these tokens through free gifts, quick wins, and milestones in various tournaments and main events like the current Gingerbread Galore.
Moonlight Treasures is scheduled to remain live for three days, ending on December 13, 2023 at around 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. This likely means that there will be a second main event where, unless it’s a one-day flash event, the pickaxe tokens will turn into cash drops if you aren’t fast enough to pick them up. What are the Monopoly Go Moonlight Treasures milestones and rewards?
So far, it looks like the 16 milestones for the Moonlight Treasures mini-game for Monopoly Go are pretty much the same as the past Egyptian Treasures event. The main difference is that you can earn an Aeroplane board token instead of the original Egyptian Cat.

[Update 2] There is no extra shield skin in the rewards this time around. Also, the 13th milestone has a rare Sticker Boom bonus that lasts 30 minutes. You may want to save this for when there’s a Wheel Boost as well so that can get through boards and claim many sticker packs with extra stickers.
[Original] We’re not certain yet if there is a new shield skin as well through the rewards list. The last one had a cool Scorpion Shield. We’ll update this list with any more info we learn about the rewards, as there may be a chance.
There is some strategy involved in digging up each grid in Moonlight Treasures. Going diagonally across the board is generally the best way to narrow down where artifacts may be hiding. How artifacts are oriented under the sand is random, but using process of elimination (and a bit of luck), you won’t need to waste pickaxe tokens by digging up every block.
