How do you add friends in The Finals?
Adding friends in The Finals is a simple process, but it’s not immediately obvious how to do it. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Turn on Crossplay: Before you can add friends, you need to make sure crossplay is turned on. This is because you can add friends from other platforms if you have crossplay enabled.
- Go to Settings (the cog icon in the top right corner of the screen).
- Select Gameplay.
- Scroll down until you find Network.
- Switch Crossplay from Off to On.
- Go to the Social Tab:
- Once you’ve turned on crossplay, go back to the main menu.
- Select the Social tab in the top right corner (the icon of two people).
- Click Add Friend:
- In the Social tab menu, click Add Friend.
- Enter Your Friend’s Embark ID:
- A pop-up window will appear. Enter your friend’s Embark ID in the search bar. Their Embark ID is their username followed by a hashtag and a number. You can find your friend’s Embark ID on their profile page.
- Send Friend Request:
- Once you’ve entered your friend’s Embark ID, click Send Friend Request.
- Wait for Your Friend to Accept:
- Your friend will receive a friend request notification. They will need to accept your request before you can play together.
- Invite Your Friend to Play:
- Once your friend has accepted your request, they will appear in your friends list. You can then invite them to play by clicking the Invite to Party button next to their name.
If you’re having trouble finding your friend’s Embark ID, you can ask them to send it to you in a message. You can also add friends by clicking on their name in the recent players list after a match. Just remember you can only have up to 50 friends on your list.
